Integration Hub and import
Purpose and map of the area
Section titled “Purpose and map of the area”This area manages integrations with external systems and the import of data from legacy systems into the platform. It includes the Integration Hub/Center (connectors, tool config, webhooks), the Integrable Systems catalogue and the Import Hub (import dashboard and wizard).
Integration Hub / Center
Section titled “Integration Hub / Center”What it is for. It is the integration centre: it configures the connectors to external systems (NOC-SOC monitoring/webhook sources, security tools, CI/CD, applications) and their credentials and mappings.
When to use it. To connect the platform to external systems and manage connectors.
How to open it. From the Home / linked hubs (Integration tile).
What it shows and how to use it. The list of configured connectors with their status; the configuration of endpoints, credentials (entered by the user), mappings and webhooks. The security tool configuration (Azure Tenant/Client ID/Secret, type, Endpoint URL), previously in SecOps Admin, has moved here.
What happens next. Active connectors feed the flows (alert ingestion, deployment records, synchronisations); actions that create persistent configuration (webhooks, rules) require confirmation.
Notes. A single integration centre (reuse, no hard-coding: everything through the API).
Integrable Systems
Section titled “Integrable Systems”What it is for. It is the catalogue of integrable systems: which ITSM/target systems are supported and through which channels.
When to use it. To check the available integration coverage (adapters and channels) before you configure an integration or an import.
How to open it. From the Integration area.
What it shows. The sections:
- Supported target ITSM systems — the 12 adapters to the target ITSM systems.
- Customer archetypes — typical customer/integration profiles.
- Vendor × channel coverage matrix — which vendors are covered on which channels.
- Transport channels — transport-level channels.
- Channel roadmap — the planned evolution of channels (next quarters).
How to use it. You check the coverage to plan the integration with a given system.
What happens next. It guides your choice of adapter/channel during configuration.
Notes. Reference document on integration capability.
Import Hub
Section titled “Import Hub”What it is for. It is the import execution dashboard: it shows the saved import configurations (sync-defs) and guides their execution and monitoring. It imports data from legacy systems into the platform (projects, tickets, request types, master data).
When to use it. To start, monitor and manage imports/synchronisations.
How to open it. From the Home / Integration (Import Hub tile).
What it shows. The import configurations as tiles, each with status, a live gauge of progress and controls: start, pause, stop, log, edit, delete. There is a view filter (all / running / paused / idle / error) and search in the toolbar.
How to use it. You select a configuration and start/pause/stop it; you check the logs; you create/edit configurations in the Import dialog (Import).
What happens next. The import loads the data into the platform, updating existing records and adding new ones, and shows live progress; high-volume imports are optimised for performance.
Running bulk imports is an administrative operation that you should start deliberately.
Import
Section titled “Import”What it is for. It is the wizard for configuring and starting an import from a legacy system.
When to use it. To create or edit an import configuration and, if you want, start the job.
How to open it. From the Import Hub (creating/editing a configuration).
What it shows. A step-by-step wizard:
- Connections — the credentials of the source and of the target (from a vault or inline); access to the source is read-only.
- Scope — customer discovery and selection of the target tenant.
- What to import — the Quick / Standard / Full presets plus a granular checklist of the data to import, job start and the progress dashboard polling.
How to use it. You enter the credentials, select the scope and the data, choose the preset and start; progress is monitored in real time.
What happens next. The job imports the data into the platform, with the mapping of domains and queues and the chosen mode (move or synchronisation); the configuration stays available in the Import Hub for re-runs.
Notes. Read-only on the source; no hard-coded values; the user enters the credentials.
